Randall Slip-in-the-Cracks Randall is an entrepreneur from the Beach Car. He has the ability to split himself into multiple people. These multiple versions of himself make up what he calls "Team Randall".

Appearance[]

As a character, Randall is usually a tall translucent blob-like entity entirely made up of either water or water-like liquid with beady black eyes and a rounded smile. Occasionally Randall can also look like steam after being boiled into such a state. The default Randall look is a blob without any accessory but Randalls are allowed to wear anything they choose. Randall differentiation can be best found by looking for a unique accessory that they wear in or on their body such as a seaweed tie, seashell bow, or a straw hat.

Randall is incredibly hard to differentiate when mimicking any state of water. It is only until Randall shows his face that you can properly tell if you are looking at water or Randall. It is unclear if Randall is a sentient water being or if Randall is a being that pretends to be water.

Personality[]

Randall is unfailingly optimistic and friendly, happily going along with the Cat's Donut Holer scheme despite immediately recognizing he is being scammed. He has an entrepreneur spirit, running multiple businesses within the Beach Car, although he seems to accept any sort of payment that is offered regardless of whether it is actually valuable or not. He also has a playful edge, turning himself into snow in Le Chat Chalet Car so he can play along with the snowball fight.

Powers and Abilities[]

Stretch and Shape - Randall has the ability to re-shape his body however he pleases so long as there is enough of him to go around.
Water to Randall - While not shown, Randall has the ability to turn any amount of water into himself. This was confirmed by Owen Dennis.^[1]

Randall character sheet — Character sheet available at the Cartoon Network voice acting seminar at San Diego Comic-Con 2018.

At San Diego Comic-Con 2018, Cartoon Network hosted a voice acting seminar for attendees. Among the example sides handed out to participants were audition sides for Randall, the Cat, and Amelia. The official description given for Randall was as follows: "Randall is a water person (as in literally made of water). He's naïve and easily duped, but is very optimistic about starting his own business. In fact, he recently became part of a multi-level marketing opportunity selling donut-holers! His is voice is calm and unassuming."
- The audition sides also included some example lines, none of which have been used on the show.
Alex Horab felt the only way Randall could fall for a pyramid scheme was if he was completely impervious to any sort of emotional pain. He notes that on top of that, Randall is completely impervious to physical pain, which he and much of the crew have joked makes Randall one of the most powerful characters on the Infinity Train (next to Alan Dracula).^[2]
