Passengers are humans who the Infinity Train feels needs help growing as a person.
Selection and Processing[]
When someone is at a turning point in their lives, the train tries to help them.[1] The train will appear, seemingly when the passenger is alone, and entice them into boarding. Once a passenger boards the train, they are sedated and brought to the Passenger Preparation Car to have a Memory Tape made and a number etched on their right palm by a machine. When the process is completed they are placed in a Passenger Transportation Pod and dropped off to a random car. Passengers are not limited to the car they were sent and can travel across the train.

Trivia[]
- According to Owen Dennis, the train chooses passengers who are at a turning point in their life and puts them through rigorous tests with the desired goal being to help them.
- Despite this, Owen has also said the train isn't fair with material in the show such as Simon being murdered by a Ghom and the Docent killing passengers for their arms, showing that passengers can be killed instead of helped.
- Simon Laurent also went from having the lowest number when he arrived on the train to dying with the highest number ever recorded showing how the train can sometimes make a passenger's problem much worse than it originally was.
- Under ordinary circumstances, passengers would only ever board the train once in their lives. Jesse Cosay boarding the train twice was considered completely unprecedented at the time.
- Passengers are not limited to the car they were sent and can travel across the train.
