The Parka Denizens are a trio of parka-wearing denizens residing in the Iceberg Car.
Personality[]
At first glance, the Parka denizens appear rude like most monster-based Denizens, but that is only because of their conflict with Kez. However, they tend to take their revenge too far, as they still wanted to do it even after Min-Gi and Ryan defended themselves. The parka denizens are very cold and calculated, their attitude towards their allies is more neutral then positive. In fact, they apparently had no problem using the Erastat on passengers and denizens even if they weren't the ones who wronged them. It was until after Kez apologized that the realized how wrongfully far they went.
Due to their technologically advanced society, the Parka Denizens are very sophisticated and are capable of fixing their devices and get their goal quickly.
Evolutionary History[]
(see the article about the episode "The Iceberg Car" for more context).
What makes the Parka Denizens unique is that, unlike most Denizens, they have the ability to "evolve".
Their car includes the "Eon-oscillator", which allows whoever uses it to control the evolutionary time period by turning the dial on the device.
Rock form[]
In the beginning of their evolution, the Parka Denizens appear as rock-like creatures.
Thay are incapable of speech and their entire car is a hellish landscape, with large volcanoes.
Fish form[]
When Ryan and Min first enter the car, it is frozen with Ice and full of icebergs, hence the name "Iceberg Car".
The parka denizens appear as fish-people in this stage, they hold pickaxes capable of breaking ice.
Lemur-like form[]
In the next stage, the Car is turned into a lush jungle (not to be confused with the Jungle Car). In this period, the Parka Denizens become lemur-like creatures. This helps them traverse the trees of the car with ease.
Gorilla form[]
In this stage, the car barely changes, but the Parka denizens become a tribe of Gorillas. They are much stronger than their previous counterparts, but due to their tight-fitting coats, they cannot move their arms.
Present form[]
In their present stage, the Parka Denizens are at their Human-like form, although unlike the previous stages, which were based on Earth based creatures, they seem to be more based off of Grey Aliens. They inhabit large cities that are built within the Car.
"The one true thought" form[]
In this final stage, the Parka Denizens appear to have become a sort of "psychic deity", the entire Car, which was once a city, is now a desert devoid of any life. They appear as floating, laser-shooting eyeballs with increased intellectual ability.
History[]
Book Four - Duet[]
"The Iceberg Car"[]
The three denizens first appeared in their fish form. Kez accidentally turned their futuristic city into the ice age by turning the Erastat when it was on a vending machine wanting some gum. After crossing a river to get away from them, she met Min-Gi and Ryan. The denizens were going to build a raft to destroy Kez for what she did. Min-Gi and Ryan, without thinking, changed them into their forms of rocks, lemur, and gorillas. One of them makes it clear they're going to destroy them for scrambling their DNA. In their thought form, they tell Kez to have grape gum. Finally, Min-Gi and Ryan managed to turn it back into the city, but the denizens weren't satisfied. It turns out they were going to leave for a ski trip when this happened, but now they plan on scrambling their own DNA and send them back to the beginning of time. Before they could, however, Kez spins the Erastat so they wouldn't chase them, much to their utter dismay.
"The Old West Car"[]
The three were revealed to have escaped and met with Judge Morpho, who was also angry at Kez. Since they were all looking for her, they decided to team up and destroy her once and for all.
"The Mega Maze Car"[]
The parka denizens appear again in the Mega Maze Car, now joined by Pig Baby, Cow Creamer, and Nigel, the bouncer from the Astro Queue Car. One of the parka denizens used the Erastat to age Pig Baby into a toddler so they could travel together. The three, as lemurs go after Ryan and Min-Gi, hoping to use the Erastat to devolve them into nothing. One transformed into a gorilla and later they all turned into their true thought forms. It is revealed that their ski trip is annual and with friends, once this is done, they still plan on going. However, they accidentally turned Cow Creamer into food causing Pig Toddler to smash them into the ground.
"The Train to Nowhere"[]
The three managed to turn Cow Creamer back to normal and change into their alien forms. An upset Morgan decided to let them all in to get their revenge on Kez, but suddenly she screams "I'm sorry!" to them all. One of the parka denizens was surprised at this. Once Kez explains herself, they all realize that acknowledging their wrongs and apologizing feels good and forgive Kez. The parka denizen also apologizes to Cow Creamer for aging Pig Baby up, admitting they were being hypocritical because he wasn't the one who wronged them. She also apologized to Nigel about something saying he's a wonderful father. Only Judge Morpho wasn't willing to accept this, but she was swatted by Ryan. Then he borrowed the Erastat and used it to fix Morgan, the parka denizen was happily impressed with this and left with the others, now on better terms with Kez.

Trivia[]
- If it wasn't blatantly obvious enough, the Parka Denizens are heavily inspired by human evolution.
- Their first fish-like form was inspired by the lobe-finned fishes of ancient Earth. The ape-like forms of the Parka Denizens are also heavily inspired by the theory that humans evolved from apes. The lemur-like form seemed to be based on the Purgatorius. Their second, fifth and sixth forms, however, are more up to interpretation. Usually, the early first stages of human evolution are single-celled organisms like protozoa (which was even mentioned), not rocks.
- Owen Dennis confirmed in a Reddit AMA that the Iceberg car's (and the denizens with it) "gimmick" of evolution is native to it.
