Welcome to the Projects page! This is a page devoted to specific site-wide projects designed to improve coverage of Infinity Train episodes, merchandise, etc.
Current Projects
Preserving Tweet Links
Every few months Owen Dennis wipes his tweets for no particular reason, which is a little unfortunate for us because he sometimes tweets vital behind-the-scenes information. Luckily, quite a bit of this information has already been shared on this wiki thanks to intrepid users, but the references lead to now-dead links. However, all of these links appear to have been archived on archive.org, and can very easily be retrieved that way.
Dennis is not the only Infinity Train crew member who has deleted his tweets, which goes to show the truly ephemeral nature of tweeting (just look at what Cartoon Network and HBO Max did after they removed it from the streaming service). Thus it is imperative that we make sure these tweets are easily accessible so information doe snot go uncited.
- Tasks
- Add archival links to existing references.
- Replace dead links with archival links (URL can be cross-referenced with the Internet Wayback Machine)
- Screenshot any existing tweets, upload to Imgur or other file-sharing service.
Improving Book 4 coverage
Despite being the final released season, coverage for Book Four - Duet has been somewhat sparse on this wiki.
- Tasks
- Complete plot summaries (the final three episodes of Book Four still lack plot summaries)
- Add information to character pages.
Improving crew coverage
Infinity Train is as much about its crew as it is its story. However, coverage of the various members of the "Choo-Choo Crew" on this wiki is a bit sparse.
- Tasks
- Ensure there are pages for all members of Infinity Train writing, storyboarding, design team, and cast.
- Ensure pages include basic information
- Infobox
- Image (a profile picture, even if it's just art, will do)
- Role on the show
- Other projects they are known for.
- If possible: a gallery of images related to their work on Infinity Train
Completed Projects
Book 1 and 2 DVD Commentaries
As the only seasons of Infinity Train to get DVD releases, Books 1 and 2 contain commentary tracks provided by the writers. These tracks provide behind-the-scenes information on Infinity Train that is unavailable elsewhere. Only snippets of this information, however, have made it onto the wiki.
- Tasks
- Add to trivia sections of each episode page for Books 1 and 2 with information from DVD commentaries.
- Potentially create separate "behind-the-scenes" subsection depending on breadth of information
- Cross-share trivia where relevant to actor/writer/character pages.
