Orbs are devices located in each car of the Infinity Train. They control parts of each car, from its content to its physical proprieties.

Design[]

Orbs are aquamarine colored, glowing spheres, and confirmed to be the the same size as One-One.[1] They are housed within hidden panels located in various places throughout each car of the Infinity Train.

Orbs determine what the environment and physics are within each train car. Removing an orb will damage, deactivate or make a part of the train car disappear.

Trivia[]

  • The orbs seem to be fundamental for the existence of most things inside of a train car and to the car itself. In this aspect they are analogous to computer coding.
    • Denizens of the Infinity Train do not appear to need the orbs to exist in and of themselves. However, the presence of orbs that 'encode' species (i.e. corgi, ghom) seems to strongly suggest that they have at least something to do with the train's simulated environments and denizens.
  • The orbs were developed as a way of explaining why Amelia was scavenging items from the different cars as seen in "The Engine" and "The Origami Car." The original script for "The Corgi Car" had the Steward repairing the car from meteorite damage.[2]
