The Family Tree Members or the Trundlecuty Family are a group of wood engraved family member denizens who inhabit the Family Tree Car. Members of the family tree separate themselves between the Gillincuty family and the Trundleshank family. The two families often bicker with each other and are unable to separate themselves because one of their family members, Gilda Gillincuty and Herbert Trundleshank, married each other resulting in one big family tree. This makes it hard for passengers to travel through as the more arguing and fighting there is, the more branches grow which will eventually turn passengers into wood.
Design[]
The Trundleshanks are depicted as rougher around the edges in comparison to the daintier Gillincutys. This is also reflected in their design in which the names of Trundleshank members are in capitalization and the names of Gillincuty members are in cursive.
History[]
These denizens first appeared when MT and Jesse Cosay dive down the tree to look for Alan Dracula. The first members they met are Wilbur and Sinesta Gillicuty who are then interrupted by Ithmus Trundleshank. Sinestra explains the result of Gilda and Herbert Trundlecuty's marriage and Wilbur grew branches to prevent MT from talking to Ithmus. MT wanted to do her own thing and Jesse suggested naming the tree after both families, but Ithmus refused.
Jesse thought he could bring families together so they can help them find Alan Dracula, but MT thought it was pointless since they've been fighting for a century. After they split up, Jesse comes across Richard and Seth Trundleshank, who thought he had insulted the Gillicuties, much to their excitement and Jesse's dismay. Meanwhile, MT encounters Nathanial Trundleshank and Marietta Gillicuty, Marietta died from choking on an orange peel while Nathanial died on a toilet, but neither has seen Alan Dracula. Jesse learns that Charlie, Clara, Jack and Maude Gillicuty break the milk bottles of Wilbur and Leona Trundleshank every morning because they were the only kids not invited to their own kids' birthday parties due to budget costs. Jesse tried to bring together by singing "When I Look at You, I See Me" but the six just threw him towards MT since he refused to pick a side.
Soon, the two learn that the tree grows when there is more fighting, which will result in passengers turning into wood. Then, MT learns that being nice causes it to be harmless and shrink, so she and Jesse decide to compliment each other the way down the tree, completely ignoring the arguing Trundleshanks and Gillicuties. At the base of the tree, Gilda and Herbert Trundlecuty are seen kissing. MT and Jesse manage to get Alan Dracula and use him to climb back up the tree through the arguing denizens.

- The whole theme of the car and episode they are in is about learning not to fight. Therefore, the team decided that families would be the best people who would fight, the result was the family tree.[1]
- The crew have speculated on how exactly Nathanial Trundleshank died on the toilet seat: Owen Dennis thinks he broke the seat and lacerated his legs thus bleeding out, Madeline Queripel thinks he ruptured a blood vessel from sitting down too hard, and Lindsay Katai thinks he broke his hip and a shard travelled to his brain.[1]
- At one point there were six twins (sextuplets) in the Gillicuty family, but it was changed to quadruplets since the point still got across.[1]
- Owen Dennis had also asked if the residents are people who died in the real world and became a family tree in the Infinity Train. Lindsay Katai trolls him simply answering "That's an excellent question, thank you for that question," evoking Dennis' frequent response to similar inquiries on his Twitter, essentially admitting she does not know.[1]
- She proceeds to question how trees come together when someone gets married, to which Dennis responds that it is a fantastic question.[1]
- Maise and Bree Trundleshank are not seen in the episode despite their names appearing in the end credits as being voiced by Laraine Newman.
