Background[]
Infinity Train[]
When composing for the pilot, Owen Dennis asked him to think of John Carpenter and Vangelis, two other composers in the field.[2] Chrome Canyon used both analog polyphonic and modular synthesizers to compose the show's music/soundtrack.[3]
In 2019, Chrome Canyon released a playlist filled with songs from unreleased soundtracks. Fans have pointed out that many of these songs, like "Looking Back is Blinding" fit the show's theme. Eventually the playlist was closed and the songs were moved into his 2022 album Director. In an article from Musicradar, Chrome Canyon confirms that this album includes unreleased music for Infinity Train.[3]
Trivia[]
- Book One's finale ended on August 9th, 2019 which happened to be both his and Ashley Johnson's birthday. Coincidentally the were both born in the same year.
- The Roland JUNO-60 is Whirledge's first and favourite analog synth he owns.[4] In the final episode of Book 4 "The Train to Nowhere" Min-Gi Park is seen playing a parody version of the synth brand during the performance.
- For Book Four Owen Dennis let Whirledge borrow his stylophone to play for recording all the times where Min would play his.[5]
